Delhi 3rd Aug 2026: In an age where entrepreneurs are often defined by a single industry or a single success story, Vine Arora stands out for taking the opposite path. Over nearly two decades, he has moved fluidly between technology, cinema, music, and consumer goods, founding or co-founding a portfolio of ventures that span AI-driven software, feature filmmaking, and packaged beverages. In this candid conversation, Arora reflects on the philosophy that ties these seemingly unrelated worlds together, the setbacks that shaped his thinking, and where he sees his companies headed next.

Mahender Khurana: The Chandigarh Businessman Reviving Evergreen Bollywood Classics Through Music

July 21, 2026

“I would describe myself as a passionate entrepreneur, filmmaker, singer, and someone who enjoys building meaningful businesses,” Arora says. “I’ve always believed in creating ventures that solve real problems, while still leaving room to chase my creative interests.”

That dual identity — builder and creator — runs through everything he has founded. Vine Arora currently serves as Co-Founder and Director of Smartbox Media American Inc., a software company focused on artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, custom development, branding, and public relations. Alongside this, he founded Paperstone Productions LLP, a production house behind seven theatrical feature films, several web series, short films, and more than 100 music videos.

Music, too, has stayed with him since childhood. He first performed on Doordarshan’s DD1 in 1991, stepped away during his academic years, and returned to singing in 2017. He has since released more than 20 original songs across Indian and international platforms.

His entrepreneurial reach extends further still. Arora founded EIBIL, a platform for employee ratings, co-founded Restyle Hub, a fashion marketplace built for women, and set up Vittorio Industries Private Limited, the parent company behind Cafe Brewfield , Sleepveda , a wellness product and the premium bottled water label Iceberg, with additional food and beverage products currently in development.

“Keep learning, keep creating, and never stop building,” he says, summing up the principle behind it all.

What Drew Him to Such a Varied Career

Ask Vine Arora why he never settled into one lane, and the answer comes quickly: curiosity.

“I’ve never limited myself to a single industry, because I genuinely enjoy solving problems and turning an idea into something valuable,” he explains. Technology appealed to him for its capacity to reshape businesses and everyday life. Entertainment drew him in through its power to move audiences emotionally. Entrepreneurship, he says, gave him a way to fuse the two.

Rather than following a conventional career trajectory, Arora built each venture from scratch, choosing projects where he could identify an unmet need in the market and design a genuine solution around it.

Inside a Typical Working Day

According to Vine Arora, no two days look quite the same — and that variety is part of the appeal.

Mornings tend to open with reviewing business priorities, meeting different teams, and mapping out strategy. On any given day, that might mean discussing AI-based software with his technology team, planning a marketing push, checking in on a film or music production, refining a branding strategy, or exploring new markets for Cafe Brewfield and Iceberg.

He also sets aside time to track emerging technologies and shifting consumer behaviour, while making room for music whenever his schedule allows. “It keeps me creatively energised and balanced,” he says.

How Vine Arora Sees His Industries Evolving

Across every sector he operates in, Arora points to one common thread: technology.

Artificial intelligence, he says, is reshaping software development, marketing, customer service, and business decision-making at large. “Companies that embrace AI responsibly will have a real competitive edge.”

In entertainment, digital platforms are opening up global audiences for creators, while viewers increasingly expect content that feels authentic rather than manufactured. In food and beverage, he notes a similar shift — customers are paying closer attention to quality, sustainability, and brand experience, not just the product itself. “Brands that focus on innovation and earn customer trust are the ones that will keep growing.”

Setbacks, Lessons, and Staying Resilient

Building several companies at once has not come without its share of difficulty. Vine Arora is candid about the financial pressure, market uncertainty, and shifting customer demands that come with running multiple ventures simultaneously.

“One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that challenges are temporary if you stay focused on finding solutions,” he says. Rather than dwelling on setbacks, he prefers to examine what went wrong, extract the lesson, and move forward with a clearer plan.

Resilience, patience, and an ongoing commitment to learning, he says, have carried him through the toughest stretches of his career.

Defining Moments Along the Way

Several milestones stand out when Arora looks back on his journey. Co-founding Smartbox Media American Inc. in 2009 marked the start of his technology career and, in many ways, laid the groundwork for everything that followed.

The launch of Paperstone Productions — and watching its feature films reach cinema screens across India — remains a source of pride. So does his return to music after years away, a personal milestone as much as a professional one.

More recently, the launch of consumer brands under Vittorio Industries, including Cafe Brewfield and Iceberg, has opened what he calls “an exciting new chapter” centred on building homegrown Indian brands with international ambitions.

A Leadership Style Built on Trust

Vine Arora describes his approach to leadership as one rooted in empowerment rather than control. He encourages open communication, innovation, and accountability across his teams, and says he wants employees to feel comfortable sharing ideas and owning their mistakes.

That philosophy extends to himself as well. “Leaders should keep learning too,” he says. “Markets change, technology changes, customer expectations evolve — a leader who stops learning eventually stops growing.”

Where AI Fits Into the Business

Artificial intelligence is not a peripheral interest for Vine Arora — it sits at the centre of Smartbox Media’s work, where his team builds AI-powered solutions for clients across industries.

But its use doesn’t stop there. AI is also woven into branding, marketing, automation, customer engagement, and content creation across his other businesses. “AI should be seen as a tool that enhances human creativity and productivity, not something that replaces people,” he says. “The organisations that combine technology with human expertise are the ones that will shape what comes next.”

Looking Ahead

Arora’s long-term ambition is to build brands that originate in India but earn recognition on a global scale. He wants Smartbox Media to keep expanding its technology and AI capabilities, helping businesses around the world through digital transformation.

Through Vittorio Industries, he hopes to establish Cafe Brewfield, Iceberg, and future consumer products as trusted names both domestically and abroad. On the creative side, he plans to keep producing films and music that resonate with audiences well beyond India’s borders.

“More than anything,” he says, “I hope my journey shows other entrepreneurs that persistence and passion can turn an idea into something real.
