A Vision Beyond Walls

When Harsh Tyagi speaks about interior design, his words carry the conviction of someone who isn’t just decorating spaces—but redefining how they come to life. As the founder of ARCHFILTER LLC, Tyagi isn’t your typical designer. He’s a technologist, a scientific Vastu expert, and a believer in the future of digital-first interiors. With nearly a decade of experience and a vision fuelled by innovation, he’s carving a unique path in India’s often-conventional design industry.

“I always like to provide new kinds of solutions in the field of interior design in India,” he says. “But I found that we’re very slow to adopt new technologies. That’s what pushed me to start ARCHFILTER—bringing digital, faster, and easier solutions from India to the world.”“

From Designer to Disruptor

A trained interior designer with expertise in Color Consultancy, Scientific Vastu, and Building Information Modelling (BIM), Tyagi has spent the last nine years immersed in the evolving language of spatial design. Yet, what set his journey apart wasn’t just the skill set—it was his dissatisfaction with the industry’s status quo.

“In India, the interior design industry relies mostly on CAD software,” he explains. “It’s time-consuming and heavily dependent on documentation. But when I compared CAD and BIM for interior design, it was clear—BIM enables faster workflows, less paperwork, and, most importantly, virtual reality visualization.”

It was this realization that gave birth to ARCHFILTER—a startup designed not just to keep up with global standards but to leap ahead of them.

Building ARCHFILTER: Tech-Forward, Client-Centric

ARCHFILTER isn’t just a design studio—it’s a technology-driven platform offering complete interior design solutions, from concept to execution. The company integrates cutting-edge BIM tools, color consultancy, and scientific Vastu principles into a seamless, user-friendly experience. But what truly sets it apart is its interactive approach.

“We let clients visualize the solution through virtual reality,” Tyagi says. “They can see what I’ve designed before it’s built, share feedback in real-time, and we adapt instantly—digitally. It changes everything.”

This client-centric model not only saves time but also empowers homeowners and businesses to take an active role in shaping their spaces. By combining ancient Vastu wisdom with modern modeling software, ARCHFILTER bridges the old and new in an entirely novel way.

Early Hurdles and the Power of Persistence

Like many founders, Tyagi faced his share of resistance. Convincing clients to trust a relatively new, tech-heavy approach in a traditionally tactile industry wasn’t easy.

“The main challenge was convincing people about the solution,” he admits. “So I started creating samples—detailed demos of the services and technology we use. Once clients saw the value firsthand, things started to shift.”

This hands-on strategy paid off. Tyagi began attracting a growing clientele drawn to ARCHFILTER’s promise of faster delivery, high accuracy, and immersive experience. The turning point? “The unique approach and the solution we provide—it’s what attracts people,” he says. “That was our biggest breakthrough.”

A Design Philosophy Rooted in Science and Simplicity

ARCHFILTER’s ethos is as much about philosophy as it is about function. Scientific Vastu—a discipline that harmonizes design with nature’s energy flows—plays a vital role in Tyagi’s projects.

“Design should feel right,” he says. “And when you align it scientifically with space, direction, and color psychology, it becomes more than aesthetic—it becomes healing.”

By integrating scientific Vastu principles into modern interiors, ARCHFILTER crafts environments that not only look good but also feel intuitively balanced. It’s this combination of science, spirituality, and software that gives the brand its distinct identity.

Looking Ahead: Scaling Globally from the Heart of India

For Tyagi, ARCHFILTER’s journey is just beginning. His vision for the next five years is bold: “I believe in making our services available to all of India—and to the world.”

This global ambition is rooted in a belief that Indian design, when powered by technology, can compete on the world stage. By streamlining design processes and embracing immersive digital tools, ARCHFILTER aims to serve clients across borders, cultures, and time zones.

“Distance doesn’t matter anymore,” he says. “If a client in New York or Dubai can experience their design in virtual reality before execution, then why limit ourselves to one region?”

Lessons from the Frontlines of Innovation

For aspiring entrepreneurs, Tyagi’s story is both practical and inspiring. His journey underscores the importance of patience, adaptability, and forward-thinking in building a startup from scratch.

His key takeaways?

Understand the gap: “It all started when I noticed how little BIM was being used in Indian interior design.”

Educate the market: “I had to show—not tell—how the solution works. Demos made the difference.”

Stick to your vision: “People were skeptical at first. But staying consistent with the approach turned everything around.”

Use tech as a bridge, not a barrier: “Technology should make things easier, not more complex—for the designer and the client.”

Final Thoughts: A Future Designed Differently

Harsh Tyagi is part of a new generation of founders—those who don’t wait for industries to change, but build the tools to change them. Through ARCHFILTER, he’s crafting a new narrative for interior design: one where tradition meets tech, speed meets quality, and clients become collaborators in their own spaces.

For Tyagi, design isn’t just about what you see—it’s about what you experience.
