For nearly three years, he juggled both roles, using every opportunity to finance and grow the brand until it could afford to hire staff. Her passion for fashion led her to Jabong, one of India’s first online fashion marketplaces, where she gained firsthand experience of the rapid growth of e-commerce.

Shruti’s journey took her through various roles, from customer support at Lenskart to exploring the apparel industry at LULU & SKY, and understanding the luxury market at Good Earth. However, it was her experience at PRIYAASI, one of India’s renowned jewelry brands, that sparked the entrepreneurial flame in her. Shruti co-founded Jazz and Sizzle in 2023 with Jitendra, aiming to bring a fresh, trend-forward approach to jewelry.

Growing up in Allahabad, Shruti’s childhood was shaped by resilience. After losing her father at a young age, Shruti saw her mother navigate life as a single parent, which fueled her determination to pursue her dreams. Inspired by her family’s legacy of intricate designs, Shruti has always been drawn to creating something unique, just like the jewelry her nani (grandmother) once crafted. Through Jazz and Sizzle, Shruti hopes to bring that same legacy of individuality and craftsmanship to every piece of jewelry the brand creates.
