The genesis of Fugeno Care can be traced back to a singular moment in Sri Lanka, where Nupur visited a herbal and spice center unlike any other. Here, she witnessed something extraordinary—communities using local herbs, pink pineapples, red and white aloe vera, and nutmeg not only for cooking or cosmetics but for healing.

“In Sri Lanka,” she recalls, “people don’t visit hospitals unless it’s a life-or-death emergency. They trust their land. They trust nature.”

And that’s when it hit her—our grandmothers’ “nuskhas” (home remedies) weren’t just old wives’ tales; they were science in disguise. In India, we’ve always had the answers—turmeric for inflammation, multani mitti for detoxifying skin, neem for acne—but somewhere along the way, we started trading these for chemical concoctions in fancy packaging.

Why? Because convenience won over consistency.

Nupur envisioned a way to combine time-tested remedies with modern-day usability—to create something that’s as trustworthy as your grandmother’s kitchen and as accessible as your daily moisturizer.
