Shahriar didn’t parachute into leadership. His immersion in REMEX began at the grassroots level.

“I started by learning the business’s core operations from the ground up,” he explains.

That hands-on approach, combined with a degree in Economics and an MBA, helped him bring both analytical rigor and strategic foresight to the table.

This fusion of academic insight and practical experience became the foundation for REMEX’s transformation. Under his leadership, the company expanded beyond its original focus on paint and textiles to serve eight key sectors, including pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, personal care, and agriculture.

“We weren’t just supplying products—we were helping our partners future-proof their operations,” Taha notes.
