I came to the UK when I was 5 years old from India with my parents for a better life.
Growing up in the 70s and I witnessed racism first-hand and how the UK has changed over the years.
Indian born storyteller that wants his readers to understand how certain episodes in your life can change you. Both novels form a special relationship with my readers, and I hope takes them on a journey of understanding and discovery. Deliverance and Brothers in Arms are very special. Readers will find mistakes but the stories will stick with you.
Deliverance was a book I wrote when I was in dark mental health phase in my own life. The book allowed me to heal myself by going through a process of storytelling. At the end of this I was able to understand who I was and my own triggers. I now want everyone to read this book as it comes out now on Kindle and there is a promotion
“Deliverance,” had me crying from start to finish. This book is extremely emotion packed. I remember reading this book and thinking, how great of a film it would be and then they made a movie!
You would think, at this point, that you wouldn’t be able to read further, that you’d close the book and never reopen it. But you won’t be able to. The author, Umesh Moudgil, artfully forces you to read on.
Deliverance will touch the very core of your being. It offers a new outlook on life, death, and the journey in between. Umesh Moudgil has written beautifully of the ugliest scenario possible. Wow, really a incredible work.

Brothers in Arms, I started to write after 9/11. The incident really affected me and millions of people of colour. A terrible event in the name of religion but we all know this is not the case. In the book I did not attack religion but through my character understood how our actions affect everything we do. What is important is Duty, Honour and love no matter what the colour of your skin. We are Brothers in Arms.

There are certain moments in history that are so significant that they become Turning Points, moments that put a bookmark in time and cause the events that follow to be measured by a different standard. From assassinations to terrorist attacks, from political revolutions to economic crashes, such times are often fraught with conflict and tension. We all know about the 9/11 attack and how it changed the world. The 9/11 incident reveals how a badly shaken nation came together, briefly, in a spirit of sadness and patriotism.
This book is all about that incident and how it created conflicts. The attack targeted the people from all the religions, no matter what colour of skin you have. Author mentioned that “Brothers in Arms” do not care about the colour of your skin and the title of this book is appropriate and matching with the storyline.
The story talks about Aman who has a wish to join the British Forces to stop violence. This story will also share about Aman’s life after September 2001. It’s inspiring yet heart wrenching to see the affects of the attack and the sacrifices made by the soldiers to protect the country. It really upset my heart when I came to know about the murders of the innocents in the name of religion.
I am really impressed with this book and the kind of deep research done by the author. The main reason for liking this book is that it didn’t let me get distracted from the story that clearly means that author wrote this book from the bottom of his heart. I really liked this book because it is based on true incident, and I learnt a lot about the difficulties our Soldiers face and how they risk their lives but never gave up. This masterpiece is just wonderful, and I am going to read this again.
