OTTAWA, Nov 1 (Reuters) – The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) said its trading platforms were now operating normally after about an hour of technical issues that halted all stock trading on Tuesday morning.
TSX operator TMX Group tweeted about a connection problem with Canada’s largest exchange at 10:12 a.m. local time (1412 GMT). Shortly thereafter, all trading was halted on the TMX-run markets.
TMX said it experienced a technical problem that affected the connection of customers to its stock markets.
The issue was resolved and the TSX’s trading system status website showed that all trading platforms and all related components were operating normally at 11:20 a.m. local time.
