A month after the launch of The Sims 4’s High School Years expansion, EA has announced another round of bite-sized Kit DLC releases, this time on children’s clothing and desert-inspired furniture.
Both kits will launch next month, with the first Sims 4 compatible kit on September 1st. It’s all about expanded Kid Sims clothing options and ‘fun and cute’ outfits, some of which you can see in the header image above.
“Dress up your Sims in a trendy outfit that’s perfect for birthday parties, the classroom, or hanging out with friends,” EA explained. “Start your child Sims off on a lifetime of trend-setting fashion and let them express themselves with leopard-print jackets, patterned leggings, and the colorful shades they’ll want to wear when they grow up.”
The Sims 4 Desert Luxe Kit, which will be released on September 14, features a selection of indoor and outdoor furniture designed to allow Sims to “steal the sun and relax in their own modern oasis.”
All of the furniture in the collection is inspired by the “natural landscapes of the desert southwest” and uses materials such as stone and wood. Expect things like bars, loveseats, fireplaces and more that are meant to “look like functional architectural elements built into your space.”
There’s no trailer to accompany today’s announcement, but you can get a glimpse of the new additions each kit will bring in the images above. Expect each DLC to cost £4.99/$4.99 USD when they release next month for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
