SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KRON) – A cannabis business was robbed and nearby businesses vandalized early Tuesday morning, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.
Just after 3 a.m., SRPD officers were called to a business in the 1800 block of Empire Industrial Court due to multiple motion detector alarms going off. Officers arriving at the scene found the front doors of the business open. Rolling warehouse doors for nearby businesses were also smashed and damaged by the vehicles, according to police.
Officers found a cart filled with cannabis products in the parking lot. SRPD continued to search the businesses for suspects or evidence, but they found none. As officers entered and searched the businesses, they found many of the interior doors had also been damaged after being pried open.

A business reported that multiple cannabis products were stolen from their location. While other businesses were vandalized, nothing was stolen from them.
Police say surveillance video shows two newer model gray Mercedes Benz vehicles with tinted windows and a white Chevrolet SUV arrive at the business early this morning. Between six and eight suspects then got out of the vehicles wearing masks, gloves and hoods. Police say the suspects appear to be Hispanic males between the ages of 16 and 25. After taking the items from the business, the suspects left the scene.
SRPD asks for the public’s help in identifying the suspects. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact SRPD through the online tip line: www.srcity.org/CrimeTips. A $2,500 reward is being offered by the Sonoma County Alliance’s Community Safety Engagement and Rewards Fund for information leading to the arrest of the suspects responsible.
