Since Ting came to Sandpoint in 2018, the internet company has not only provided “super crazy fiber internet” to the greater Sandpoint area, but has also become a very giving part of the community.
This commitment to the community has earned Ting honors as the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Month for September.
Ting’s culture is about giving back and being an active and engaged member of whatever community they are in.
Ting holds memberships with the Bonner County Economic Development Corporation, the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Ponderay and the Selkirk Association of Realtors. They help sponsor over 40 area events including the Angels Over Sandpoint Lazy-A Fun Run, The Bonner County Fair and Rodeo, The Bonner General Heart Ball, Lost in ’50, The Festival at Sandpoint, Summer Music Series at Farmin Park as well as Pend Oreille Arts Council events, Panida events, Pend Oreille Bay Trail, Ponderay Neighbors Day, Lions Club and much more!
They also provide free Internet access to the food bank, library, and Veterans of Foreign Wars post office.
