Porpoising was a term that first re-emerged in Formula 1 in pre-season testing, but continued to dominate conversation during the early races. While the sight of cars jumping on the straight and also the terminology around ‘bottom out’ is now a familiar part of F1, the latest Technical Directives are less clear.
