Sydney carbon reduction start-up Greener has partnered with top retail group, the Australian Retailers Association (ARA) to provide an easy and affordable way for small businesses to tackle emissions reductions.
The partnership will see Greener jointly design a new digital solution. Green businessTo help ARA members understand and prioritize actions they can take to reduce their carbon footprint.
The cleantech startup offers a market-first solution for retailers and hospitality businesses to demonstrate positive steps they’ve taken to reduce emissions, then draws on a library of best-practice interventions to develop a customized course of action.
Plan positive changes and reward consumers with signs of trust.
Greener founder Tom Ferrier says 96 percent of small to medium-sized businesses want to go green, but don’t know how to hire or afford a sustainability manager to help them achieve their ambitions.
“Why did we work with ARA to fill this gap between inspiration and knowledge? Green business. This proprietary platform does all the hard work by helping these businesses build their own personal path to zero emissions and waste,” he said.
