Hosman Martinez had a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds as Somerset Tech defeated Perth Amboy Magnet 81-43 in Perth Amboy.
Somerset Tech (1-1) jumped out to a 33-13 lead over Perth Amboy Magnet (0-2) after the first quarter and led 47-24 at the half. It held a 73-32 lead late in the third after a 26-8 run.
Richard Primus led the scoring with 12 points to go along with six steals with Shrey Mehta and Kenneth Ponteras adding 11 points each. Robert Pasquale also had 10 points and nine rebounds.
