Robert Pasquale had a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds to lead Somerset Tech past Koinonia 49-45 in Plainfield.
Somerset Tech (2-1) took a 25-24 halftime lead before Koinonia (2-3) pulled ahead with three points in the third quarter. However, Somerset Tech took control again in the fourth game as they outscored Koinonia 18-11.
Kenneth Ponteras added 14 points and six assists for Somerset Tech while Hosman Martinez had 11 points and four rebounds.
