Less than a year after acquiring Death Row Records from MNRK Music Group, In 1991, the label launched by Dr. Dre, Suge Knight, and Dick Griffey had major success with hip-hop albums. West Coast, also produced by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg or 2pac, the artist Snoop Dogg has announced his relaunch on the cultural stage, combining music, fashion and cannabis.
Announced a few days ago on the music label’s social media, the launch of its first cannabis drop uses the company’s internationally renowned logo animation and features a pre-packaged tube of its name.
Promising to return Death Row to its former glory, all the elements of the old label have been redesigned for today’s audience and their ever-changing tastes. The first shipment comes in commemorative limited edition metal bags, with the image of a hooded prisoner sitting in an electric chair on the front.
Launching in stores this week, Death Row Cannabis isn’t keeping fans waiting. The brand will soon announce the exact date and location of its first shipment. Select First Cookies stores to carry Death Row Cannabis in California (Brentwood, San Bernardino and San Diego). “Other stores and other states will follow soon,” the brand said.
As for the fashion department, Snoop Dogg showed off limited editions including sweaters, t-shirts and hats during the Christmas holidays. Other updates should be coming soon.
