Anthony is an entrepreneur, motivational speaker and fashion designer who wants to inspire others like him to step into their own power and reclaim their narrative. Anthony wants members of the deaf and hard of hearing community to grow in self-confidence and take ownership of their own destiny.
“Growing up with a hearing loss has been a tough journey for me. Facing challenges, obstacles, self-doubt, frustrations and obstacles entering the hearing world. I know that I will motivate myself to improve by becoming stronger. Tamika AkinsShe is the founder of Hampton, GA-based Prim & Saucy Boutique, whose mission is to empower moms to confidently embrace their unique styles and enjoy their childhood. Her focus is on creating lasting memories through imaginative play and fashion moments. She encourages and supports creative thinking through her brand, empowering girls to be their authentic selves. The organization gives back to the community by supporting women’s shelters and other non-profits such as Purses of Hope.
“I decided to quit my corporate job as an IT consultant and take advantage of my passion for fashion. When you look good you feel good, and when you feel good you do good” said Tamika.
One of her goals is to one day partner with Girls Who Code and other STEM organizations to close the gender gap in technology and improve women’s self-confidence.

Teriana Jackson, Based in Atlanta, GA, he is the founder of She’s Stepping, a shoe brand designed to help you step into your next role, feel good, and be happy. She is a mother, wife, student and business owner.
“I play many roles as a woman, and no matter what role I play, self-image is always important.
