In the year Since establishing the cult following The Row in 2006, the brand has become a staple in the wardrobes of the rich and famous, using elevated tailoring built to last a lifetime. The brand’s signature silhouettes have become synonymous with luxury with finely tailored proportions and unmatched craftsmanship. Following its Fall 2023 menswear collection, the line now hits Paris Fashion Week and launches its built-in Resort 2024 range.
Set to the tune of Bauhaus 1979’s “The Dead of Bela Lugosi,” the show previewed a row of classic ensembles along with new coat designs, edgy evening wear and more. Bold black looks dominated the selection, with the Decamere Poncho opening the show, featuring a comfortable high neck with an essential leather clutch bag. The line’s all-new coat shape rests on an updated shoulder panel, open arm sections, and a wrap-like panel that can be worn inside or out.
As usual, the label’s swimwear was kept front and center, with asymmetric corsets alongside a dramatic wool corset to create an unfinished yet finished look. Fitted cashmere dresses came with a delicate blue pattern, holding models’ arms like a quilt. Leather outerwear was made for the modern woman, matched with contrasting gloves, clutch purses and simple ballet flats. A variety of evening gowns followed, one with a paper-like construction straight out of a sketchbook, while others saw construction with a sheer pleating technique.
