ROME – US News & World Report, the global authority on hospital rankings and consumer advice, has named Rome Health as a 2022-23 High Performing Hospital for Maternity Care (Uncomplicated Pregnancy).
It is the highest award a hospital can win for US News’ Best Hospitals for Maternity Care.
The annual assessment is designed to help expectant parents and their doctors make informed decisions about where to receive prenatal care. Rome Health earned a high performance designation in recognition of maternity care, measured by factors such as the rate of complications in newborns.

US News ranked nearly 650 hospitals that provide high-quality labor and delivery services for uncomplicated pregnancies for the 2022-23 Best Hospitals for Maternity Care. Less than half of all maternity care hospitals that participated in the survey received a High Performance designation.

The US News Hospitals Best for Maternity Care methodology is based entirely on objective measures of quality, such as cesarean delivery rates in lower-risk pregnancies, neonatal complication rates, exclusive breastfeeding rates, birth rates with early elective and vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) rates, among other measures.
