MSU Weekly Notes
vs. Austin Peay
Logan Bland led MSU with two home runs to go with four RBI while Brennan McCullough AND Drew Vogel each joined the home run party with a two-run hit and a three-run blast, respectively. McCullough would go 3-for-4 at the plate while adding a double to top his home run.
The heart of the Racers’ order was pivotal in the game as two through five hitters combined for eight RBI.
After trailing for most of the night, the Racers’ offense would explode in the ninth with Vogel and Bland’s blast each coming in the final frame. Dustin Mercer AND Carson Garner would push the scoring high with each hitting an RBI double to wrap up the runs for MSU at 12.
