Salih Özcan will not travel with the Turkish national team during the international break due to leg swelling.
The Turkish representative will not be included in his national team for the September matches due to swelling of the bones in his leg. Salih Özcan played the entire Revierderby on Saturday after his injury was diagnosed after the match.
Özcan suffered from a foot problem in training this summer and has already missed several matches for Dortmund due to physical problems. With Mahmoud Dahoud out until November with a shoulder injury, Emre Can could be thrust back into the starting line-up if Özcan is not ready to return in October.
