Orbis Brakes Debuts Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion in Historic Fashion
This year’s Rolex Reunion will host the largest exhibition of winning or historically significant Le Mans cars assembled for display and exhibition rounds. It is one of only two events worldwide to showcase cars currently in private collections or museums into racing performance. The four-day event is the highlight of Monterey Car Week.
The Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion represents the first event sponsorship for Orbis Brakes; Northern California In partnership with NASA, the news company developed Periodic Wave™ disc brakes, a proprietary design that provides advanced air cooling, reducing dangerous brake fade and extending vehicle range and fuel efficiency. Orbis brakes have attracted attention for their ability to reduce environmental impact. Weighing on average 50% less than steel brakes, Orbis brakes are expected to reduce carbon consumption in the supply chain, and reduce harmful brown emissions.
Attendees at Laguna Seca will be given a first look at Orbis brake designs, including the NextWave™ and FutureWave™ models designed to connect the entire brake spectrum.
