The No. 10 Gonzaga Bulldogs defeated visiting Eastern Oregon Mountaineers 120-42.
The Zags (11-3) trailed the Dre Team by 18 points for their sixth straight win. Six other players scored in double figures, the largest margin of victory in program history. Rasir Bolton had 14 points, Nolan Hickman and Anton Watson each added 13 points. Julian Strawser had 10 points and three steals.
For the Mountaineers (7-5), their two-game winning streak came after 28 turnovers and shooting just 29.6% from the field. Malakias Afework led Eastern Oregon with 11 points, the only double-digit scorer.
Gonzaga led by as many as 30 points in the first half, and its defense forced 13 turnovers from the Mountaineers and scored 18 of those mistakes.
The Zags produced high-quality possessions, including 18 combined possessions, as they defended many more chances. Leaps and dwarfs. The offense finished the first half with 38 points.
