Every once in a while, an item of jewelry is developed that captures our collective dreams, emotions, adventures, and what we hope will signify a special moment or moments in our lives. Such is the case with NeverNoT’s three-dimensional jewel charms and gold luggage. NeverNoT is based in London, but dresses internationally and travels the world, just like the creators behind it. The whole collection is about living happily and wearing your jewelery all the time, rather than ‘never wearing it’ and keeping it in a box or safe.
This new series represents people getting back into their lives and traveling more, often to further destinations they had wanted to visit before the pandemic. The NeveNoT suitcase captures this in themed suitcase charms crafted in gold and hard stones: malachite, bull’s eye agate, black and white mother of pearl, lapis and opal with diamond accents.

based in London Nina Dzhokhadze, co-founder of the brand, explains the inspiration: “We were influenced by the ability to travel again, by the vacations we look forward to, the exciting flights to our most desired destinations. This is mixed with the anticipation of the picturesque coast and sunset, or the discovery, during the visit, of the beauty of ancient architecture and indigenous beauty that reveals every place we visit.”
Dzhokhadze offers more details about the impetus for the collection, “Natia Chkhartishvili and I are co-founders of NeverNoT. However, we live in different places (I live in London and Natia, in Georgia/Eastern Europe). However, we see each other while traveling, often meeting at airports and on the move, which played into this series as well. Natia loves unique suitcases and we both have an affinity for bright colors.”
In this series, the duo borrowed the nostalgia and kitsch of luggage covered in stickers from around the world. It’s an extension of NeverNoT’s upbeat, sometimes whimsical approach to fine jewelry and, Dzhokhadze says, “is also relatable to everyone who loves to travel.”
The suitcases represent different destinations and each one has a name. Dzhokhadze describes a selection of them:
“The opal suitcase is featured in ‘Beach Escape’ as it resembles blue sea water and crystal clear beach views.”
