Kathmandu, November 27: KASA organized a fashion show ‘Kathmandu Fashion Gala’ in Babermahal to mark the organization’s fifth anniversary.
At the red carpet event, 14 celebrities including Chef Santosh Shah, Miss World Nepal, Doctors, Miss Universe Nepal, Nepali actors and actresses, singers, fashion designers, makeup artists and other celebrities joined the event and walked the ramp.
Speaking at the event, Kasa CEO Ramila Nemkul said, “We are organizing this red carpet event for the first time in Nepal. Fashion is not only attractive but also a business. The fashion industry is the second largest industry in the world. But in Nepal this industry has not developed much. So, we organized ‘Kathmandu Fashion Gala’. By organizing such events, it creates an opportunity for the fashion design sector and also creates an opportunity for other individuals engaged in this sector to get to know and communicate with each other.
At the event, Pankaj K Gupta Kasa, the founder of Everest Show, announced that he is going to organize an ‘Everest Show’ on Mount Everest. In the past, Kasa has set two Guinness World Records for the highest trek by holding a fashion show at Kala Patar (5,644 meters) and Gokyo (5,500 meters). According to Gupta, Kasa is now attempting to set the Guinness World Record for the third time in the ‘Everest Show’.
