The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) today released its fifth NAIA Coaches Top 25 Poll of the 2022 season. Montana Tech fell to No. 25 in the latest national poll.
The Orediggers (4-2) were in Caldwell, Idaho last weekend facing No. 9 College of Idaho. The Yotes came from behind and stopped the Orediggers from pulling off an upset on Homecoming weekend with a last-game 27-24 victory.
The Orediggers were ranked 19th, but the loss did not eliminate them from the voting.
College of Idaho (6-0) moved up two spots in the poll to No. 7. Rocky Mountain (5-1) beat Eastern Oregon last weekend and moved up two spots to No. 15 in the polls.
Morningside still holds the top spot in the Coaches Top 25.
Montana Tech is on a bye this week. The Orediggers are back in action on October 22n.d home for Hall of Fame weekend.
