Working to bring sustainability and style together, Meow Wolf will debut its fashion line at what Forbes calls, “one of America’s fastest-growing fashion platforms:” Denver Fashion Week.
Since its launch in 2012, DFW has united Denver’s artistic community. The festival is the city’s biggest fashion event, bringing together new and experienced designers with local boutiques, hair stylists, make-up artists and models. Meow Wolf will join the lineup at the DFW “Lifestyle” show on Tuesday, November 15th at the Sports Castle.

Continuing the themes of artistic expression and sustainability, designer Kate Major – wardrobe coordinator for the followers at Meow Wolf’s Convergence Station – Her first collection is themed around garbage. The line uses recycled materials after being taken to the landfill. Yet, Major elevated them to art.

This ongoing collection is inspired by Meow Wolf installations like Gremlin Symphony and the trashy masterpieces of Sea Street’s Dystopian Edge. Major’s line brings cosmic street fashions straight from the futuristic fantasy film to the Denver runway. Many aspects of the rich characters and worlds from Meow Wolf will also be presented at DFW.
“I’m honored to be the person telling the story of Convergence Station in fashion,” Major said.
To bring the magic of Meow Wolf out of the exhibition and onto the runway.
In addition to Meow Wolf’s first runway segment by Kate Major, DFW Day will feature four iconic suits featuring professional football players Bradley Chubb, Kareem Jackson, Jonas Griffiths and PJ Locke. Haven Collective, Glam it!, Fashion Curator, Kawessi and MDC STXDIO take to the runway for a night of lifestyle wear. Expect to see everything from intricately handcrafted clothing and accessories to casual wear.
