While Marvel’s presence at EPCOT has largely shifted to World Discovery and its flagship attraction Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, it seems that traces of the hugely successful superhero universe are flowing into World Showcase in a rather unexpected way – with new travel poster-inspired banners installed at Disney Traders near the entrance from World Celebration.

The four banners as travel posters are mounted on the four columns in the center of the store.

The former shows the Quantum Realm visualized in “Ant-Man and the Wasp” rather than the latter which shows it more as a fantasy civilization. Red, blue and green particles are visible throughout and it reads “You’re never too young to visit the Quantum Realm”.

The second depicts Wakanda from the “Black Panther” series, showing African natural landscapes in the foreground, as well as Warrior Falls. In the background is the capital Birnin Zana. Below we see the slogan “Enjoy our lands and feel like a king”.

The Savage Land first appeared in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” as one of the many multiverses through which America Chavez was pursued by the Scarlet Witch. While only seen briefly in the film, The Savage Land is used very commonly throughout Marvel Comics and may make a bigger appearance in the MCU. The background shows a Sabertooth cat amidst a fantastic backdrop of lush trees and towering mountains. The label reads “Where Time Left Behind”.

Finally, tying into the actual attraction here at EPCOT, we see “Knowhere” from the “Guardians of the Galaxy” series. Built in place of the skull of a dead celestial, Knowhere was previously used as the headquarters of “The Collector” Taneleer Tivan, a name well known to Disneyland Resort locals. Once a haven for the galaxy’s outlaws, it now hosts the Guardians of the Galaxy themselves. 1980’s style art reads “The Edge of the Universe Will Take You … Know Where”
All four of these travel poster-like banners are now on display at Disney Traders in EPCOT. How do you feel about seeing more Marvel decor seeping into Disney Parks? Tell us in the comments below!
