The Louisville Metro Police Department is investigating after two people were shot in southwest Louisville on Saturday. Police said they received reports of a shooting around 5 p.m. involving two victims. LMPD located a female in the 3200 block of Commerce Center Place, while a male was found in the 3300 Block of Penway Drive, not far away. After LMPD’s initial investigation, they said the two victims were outside a business at Cane Run Road and Bells Lane when they were shot and fled the scene. Both man and woman have life-threatening injuries, according to police. They were taken to UofL Hospital for treatment. Police have not yet determined the relationship between the two victims. LMPD Second Division is investigating the shooting and has not made any arrests.
