Today we’re into the weeds:
- Markets: Stocks were down in most parts of the world, though they were somewhat mixed in Europe. Crypto is mostly flat, with XRP bucking the trend with interest. The Bloc reports that crypto volumes hit a record high in September, which could bode well.
- Start: Clerkenwell Health has raised a couple of million pounds to trial alternative medicine for mental health conditions. We are excited about this. And Trendsi just raised a $25 million Series A, which is no small deal, as we expect to see smaller early stage rounds this year. Good on Trendsi!
- Quick shots: Kanye West and Elon Musk have once again dominated the news cycle, this time after the former got into trouble for anti-Semitic posts on Instagram and Twitter. Meanwhile, Musk welcomes you to Twitter. Also, Tizen is not dead, and PayPal is having a hell of a start to the week.
