The Internal Revenue Service, Small Business and Reporting Team, will host a VIRTUAL Program Manager/Contracting Officer (PM/CO) vendor contact (VOS) session for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing’s Information Technology Division ( BEP), Strategic Enterprise Planning and Management Division (ESPMD) on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, from 13:30 to 15:30. This VOS event is open to all SMALL BUSINESSES that provide Information Technology services and supplies. Disadvantaged small businesses as well as small business concerns that are also major contract holders of a Government Wide Contracting (GWAC) vehicle are encouraged to participate. Small businesses will have the opportunity to present their skills to Program Office staff within the BEP IT ESPM Division; Contracting officers within BEP’s IT Procurement Office; and the IRS Small Business Program Office. VOSs are pre-scheduled 15-minute meetings with Contracting Officers and Program Managers, jointly, from the Information Technology components within the BEP Division, ESPM. ESPM’s mission is to provide strategic planning and program management support to improve IT governance; provide support for the acquisition of application development staff; and directs, manages and oversees the IT architectural framework for the Bureau. These sessions provide the small business community an opportunity to discuss their skills directly with Program Offices and Contracting Officers. There is no cost to participate. There are only 12 appointments available for this VOS.
Small Business Event – BEP-IT Vendor Contact Session
For each meeting, vendors will have 15 minutes to present an overview of their company’s capabilities via screen sharing in Microsoft Teams. These 15 minutes should allow for introductions and questions and answers with government representatives. Sellers will receive a 2-minute notification when you approach the 15-minute time limit, then a final notification that the appointment time is up. We recommend that vendors join the meeting at least 15 minutes before the scheduled meeting time.
Registration opens on Friday, February 17, 2023 AND closes Wednesday, February 22, 2023. To schedule an appointment, please follow the instructions below (NOTE: APPOINTMENTS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED THROUGH THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW. PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BECAUSE THERE ARE ONLY 12 APPOINTMENTS THAT WILL BE FILLED SOON. APPOINTMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY EMAIL OR PHONE AND WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED STARTING ON THE DATE/TIME INDICATED. Emails requesting an appointment at VOS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
1. Go to https://sbecs.treas.gov and register your firm to do business with the Treasury Department (if you have not already done so). Please read “New to SB-eCS?” before you start.
2. After registering your firm, log in to SB-eCS using your login and password and select Schedule Vendor Outreach Sessions.
