Two years ago, the pandemic pushed courts to use technology, whether they liked it or not. At the time, like most workplaces, they were coping in every possible way—video conferencing, text messaging, and hosting digital evidence, among others.
Since then, however, some court technologists have worked to create more organized systems for technology adoption within their jurisdictions—complete with a hierarchy of decision makers and veto powers.
