Innovations from established companies and aspiring startups in the eTravel scene; Networking areas for a dialogue with technology enthusiasts. Numerous travel technology experts will provide insight at the ITB Convention Berlin 2023.
Strong view from Travel Technology segment from March 7 to 9, 2023 at ITB Berlin reflects the great innovative strength of the tourism industry. The world’s largest travel trade show reflects the entire technology value chain, ranging from channel and content management solutions, hotel technology, web and data analytics software and front/back office systems , to social media, payment solutions and aspiring startups. Travel technology providers are from over 30 countries and represented in four halls (Halls 5.1, 6.1, 7.1c and 8.1.), where they will present their latest products and ideas for the entire tourism industry. They include ASKSUITE TECNOLOGIA LTDA, Blastness, BUSINESS FRANCE (Original French village), Spain travel technique (Original French village), HiJiffy, Hotelmize, mTrip AND Qtravel.ai, among many others. This year, Saber is three times bigger than in 2019, and for blockchain expert Chain4Travel this is their first time at ITB Berlin. Compared to the trade fairs in 2019, when ITB Berlin was last held as an in-person event, there are many new and above all international BI/data and payments providers among this year’s Travel Tech exhibitors.
For the second time, the Technology, Travel and Activities (TTA) segment will be directly represented at the world’s leading travel trade show. The TTA Market in Hall 4.1 is an important meeting place for tour managers, operators, technology specialists, travel destinations and agencies. Here trade visitors can find both startups and established companies presenting their innovative products and the latest survey findings.
ITB Berlin eTravel Stage in Hall 6.1 – a think tank and idea factory
On all three days of the show on the ITB eTravel stage in Hall 6.1, established companies and aspiring startups will be represented as think tanks for technology-driven innovation and digital transformation in the tourism and hospitality industry. Their slogan is ‘Learning to transform: where to start and lead to master transformation processes with technology’. The program features topical keynotes, case studies referencing best practices, reports, key learnings, as well as panel discussions about travel technology and digitization in the travel industry.
Finding and engaging with tech enthusiasts is what the various networking areas in the exhibition spaces at ITB Berlin are all about, for example in the eTravel hall and the hotel campus from HQ Plus to Hall 6.1 and ITB Travel Tech Café sponsored by GIATA in Hall 5.1.
