Statement on access and accommodation
Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible event. All virtual events will have automated titles. Recorded events will have captions edited immediately after the event. If you would like live captions or a sign language interpreter, please contact the organizer two weeks before the event.
For in-person events, VTCSOM’s main building at Riverside 2 is wheelchair accessible from elevators inside the parking garage. Blind or visually impaired users may need assistance to find the elevators under the building or to use the stairs in front of the building.
If you need a reasonable accommodation to attend an event in person, please contact the event organizer. All reasonable accommodation requests must be made no less than 2 weeks prior to the event. We will try to fulfill requests made after this date, but we cannot guarantee that they will be fulfilled.
