How to unlock fast travel in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
You will not have access to fast travel at the beginning of the game. There are specific points of interest that you must visit or discover first in order to unlock that POI as a fast travel location.
There are four types of zones you can unlock for fast travel in XC3.
Reference points
These fascinating places can be visited with fast trips once you have discovered them.
Vacation places
These spots are places where you can fast travel to spend some free time.
Colonies
Colonies are safe areas to get quests and talk to townspeople.
With the name Graves
After killing any large boss-like enemies, you’ll be able to use their tombs as a fast travel location.
How to fast travel in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Once you’ve unlocked a POI from the aforementioned list, it’s time to fast travel to that area.
Start by going to the main menu and opening the map. Then select a location you want to fast travel to and press the Skip Travel option. This will take you to the location you are interested in.
Note that you cannot fast travel during combat, so don’t take fast travel as a means of escaping battles. If you’re on the verge of losing a battle, give up the thought of retreating by teleporting to a fast travel location.
