what happened? Ahead of Leeds’ Premier League clash with Tottenham on Saturday, Marsh has expressed his delight at working with compatriot Aaronson. The Leeds boss made an interesting comparison between growth and weed before revealing the player has more quality than meets the eye.
What did they say? “It’s getting better every day,” Marsh said revealed. “He’s like a weed. You are going to see it grow before your eyes. It’s amazing. He is a special young man.
“It’s about his ability to make the final plays and slow himself down a little bit in the final third. It is more quality than people think. He’s a great finisher, very good at how to orchestrate passes in tight spaces.
The big picture: Aaronson has been one of Leeds’ star players in their stuttering start to 2022-23, scoring a goal and an assist. He lined up against Spurs this Saturday in March.

What’s next for Aaronson? After completing club duties for Leeds with Spurs, Aaronson will focus on the USMNT’s World Cup campaign. Having scored six goals in 24 appearances for his country, the 22-year-old will be one of the key players for his country when they start against Wales in Group B on November 21.
