A focus on solutions
“The goal is to bring together subject matter experts from business, politics and nonprofit organizations to discuss the advantages of doing business in New Jersey and the challenges plaguing New Jersey’s economy, and to propose actions necessary to transition to long-term economic growth.” ,” said Tom. Bracken, president and CEO of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce. “We are looking for solutions.”
The solutions will be presented to state legislative leaders, who will participate in a panel discussion on the second day of the Summit.
The biggest business event of the year with an exhibition and lots of networking
The summit will feature a pair of networking receptions: an evening cocktail reception on March 14 and a morning reception – featuring a panel of business journalists – on March 15; and will include a business expo on March 14 for New Jersey businesses to showcase their products and services.
“We expect this to be the single largest business event in the state this year on a scale comparable to our Walk in Washington,” Bracken said. “There is a strong desire among business people in New Jersey to improve the state’s business climate and to network. This event will provide a prime opportunity for both.”
When the Chamber held a Summit in Atlantic City last year, it attracted more than 650 attendees.
This year’s attendees will include a wide range of business leaders from companies large and small, state and local government leaders, representatives from trade groups, labor, academia, nonprofit organizations, and the news media.
