WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – We’ve reached the final weekend before Thanksgiving and the second day of gun deer hunting season. It sure has felt like winter lately, but there is hope for a break from this cold streak in North Central Wisconsin. Cloudy with some sun on Sunday, a bit cool and still cold. Growth in the mid-20s.
A few clouds Sunday night and quite cold with lows in the mid to high 10s. Monday features more sunshine than clouds with highs returning to the low 30s. The moderating trend of temperatures continues on Tuesday with partial clouds. Growth in the mid-30s. Wednesday is the biggest travel day and the weather will still be in our favor. Partly cloudy and milder with highs rising into the low 40s.
The upcoming weather producer is looking to be less impressive than previous weather model data had shown for Thanksgiving. The latest indications are that a cold front will be headed our way on Turkey Day and could bring scattered rain or snow. Nothing will stop you from going to grandma’s house for the family gathering, but sometimes it can be a little humid. The same for those who can participate in a Turkish tour. Highs Thursday are in the mid-30s.
Mostly cloudy Friday with highs in the mid 30s. Next weekend there is some sunshine on Saturday with highs in the mid 40s. More clouds than sun next Sunday, November 27 with highs in the low 40s.
