Gigi Hadid showed off her quick turnaround skills as she introduced her Netflix fashion series on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday.
The 27-year-old model stepped out in a dark green leather hooded coat with skinny trousers and stiletto heels as the show’s band played in David Bowie fashion.
‘This is the fastest, … fastest wardrobe change I’ve ever had on a show,’ said Gigi, who changed clothes during a commercial break on the NBC talk show.
In fact, I am a professional. A quick turnaround is great, she added.
Gigi wore a white t-shirt, jeans and sneakers as she played games with Jimmy, Tariq Trotter and fellow guest Chase Stokes earlier.
Jimmy pointed out that Gigi has done more than 35 Vogue covers and has featured her on the cover of the fashion magazine.
‘It’s an honor and it’s amazing,’ said Gigi.
But I don’t know how it went by so fast. It’s like I remember each one, like a vivid memory of the day with so many people involved and working so hard to create each photo. So it’s amazing that it’s that much,” Gigi said.
Jimmy, 48, asked Gigi if she would like to co-host her new Netflix show Next In Fashion with Tan France of Carey Eye fame.
‘Love to host, love to judge. Such a unique new experience for me to go to the same studio every day with the same team. It’s like your office job,’ he said.
Jimmy said she was ‘funny’ and ‘funny’ and a ‘great host’ on the show.
“And normally, like, in my career, I don’t think I’m given the time and space to really open up and express myself,” Gigi said.
‘It could be you,’ said Jimmy.
‘Yes, I can be. And I think I try to be funny,” Gigi said.
The second season of Next Fashion premieres Friday on Netflix.
The series first premiered in January 2020 with Tan and Alexa Chung as co-hosts.
