Mumbai: FOReT, a sustainable and vegan-friendly fashion brand, has won the 2022 Vegan Fashion Award at the People’s Association for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India Awards. The brand has been awarded for demonstrating excellence in innovation and sustainability in contemporary fashion.
FOReT products include trendy wallets, laptop bags, handbags and jewelry. The company promotes natural fibers that are earth-friendly and not derived from animals.
“India’s first brand of jewelery and handbags made from plant-based cork, we are delighted to receive the Vegan Fashion Award from PETA. “The award brings us closer to our mission of creating a new narrative where vegan fashion is not an option but a primary fashion choice,” said Supriya Shirsat Sattam, Founder of FOReT.
