BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Mosaic Medical, a non-profit community health organization that provides quality care to all in Bend, Redmond, Prineville and Madras, recently received “zero findings” during an operational site visit sponsored by the Administration of Health Resources and Services.
HRSA is an agency of the US Department of Health and Human Services. It provides funding for health centers in medically underserved communities, ensuring access to affordable, comprehensive, high-quality primary health care services for people who are low-income, uninsured or face other barriers to get health care.
The overall goal of the OSV, which takes place every three years, is to collect comprehensive, objective, “on-the-ground” baseline information on the compliance and performance status of community health organizations like Mosaic. OSV consultants review hundreds of documents, conduct clinic tours and interview numerous staff.
After weeks of review, OSV consultants concluded that Mosaic was 100% compliant in all areas of the program. They also stated that Mosaic Medical is exemplary in all areas and is an excellent example of a high performing community health center.
“HRSA sets high standards for meeting all health center compliance requirements, and this is the second time we have received zero findings during an OSV, which is simply outstanding,” said Megan Haase, FNP and Executive Director of Mosaic Medical. “We are very honored to receive these results as it speaks volumes for the hard work our staff puts in to provide the highest quality care to our patients every day.”
