Simmons’ history has taken cues from traditional music scenes, including new wave, punk and electronica, with his final set at London’s Printworks, the iconic nightclub (and former newspaper factory) due to close next year. The show – the label’s first at London Fashion Week – was delayed due to the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and took place in mid-October. For the show, he eschewed traditional hierarchies at runways, taking advantage of the vast space by inviting 800 people from the fashion elite and beyond.
