Eight Trinity Health Michigan Hospitals Named Most Technologically Advanced for Second Straight Year Livonia, Michigan (MI), Saint Joseph Mercy Health System

Eight Trinity Health Michigan hospitals are named
The most technologically advanced for the second year in a row

CANTON and NORTON SHORES, (October 11, 2022) – The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) announced that eight Trinity Health Michigan hospitals have received 2,022 CHIME Digital Health “Most Wired” recognitions.

Trinity Health Michigan Hospitals have been awarded Level 9 Digital Health Certified recognition for the acute and outpatient categories. Hospitals that achieve level 9 or higher are described as leaders in healthcare technology who actively push the industry forward by using technologies in innovative ways while encouraging technology adoption throughout the organization.

This marks the tenth consecutive year that Trinity Health Oakland has received this recognition, as well as the fifth consecutive year for Trinity Health Livonia. Additionally, this is the second year in a row that Trinity Health Ann Arbor, Trinity Health Livingston, Chelsea Hospital, Trinity Health Saint Mary’s, Grand Rapids, Trinity Health Muskegon and Trinity Health Shelby have been recognized.

“Trinity Health Michigan is at the forefront of hospitals across the state that are incorporating new and innovative technologies to deliver an increasingly high quality of patient care,” said Shannon Striebich, president of Trinity Health Oakland and chief operating officer for Trinity Health Michigan. . “With the technological advances being used in our hospitals today, our patients are able to receive the best care possible. We are very grateful to CHIME for this recognition and are proud of the fact that all of our hospitals have earned it year after year.”

The survey, conducted by CHIME, provides data and analysis to healthcare communities around the world by measuring the optimal use of information technology, including infrastructure, security, data management and more.
