We are proud to announce that Dr. Saidalavi has successfully completed his Ph.D. program in Finance Management at our esteemed institution. This is a significant milestone in Dr. Saidalavi’s academic journey, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to him for his hard work, dedication, and perseverance throughout the program.
Dr Saidalavi’s thesis, titled “Assessing the financial literacy of information technology professionals in India”, is a ground-breaking work in the field of Finance Management. It is an original and innovative contribution to the existing body of knowledge, and we are confident that it will make a significant impact in the academic community and beyond.
Since 2000, he has been employed as a literacy coordinator for the local government under the Government of Kerala. In 2002, after completing his Master’s Degree in Commerce, he started his own private educational institute where he served as a teacher. Along with this, he started conducting free seminars, training, and retreats for different groups of youth in the parishes with the goal of teaching leadership, promoting mental well-being, and equipping them with useful soft skills for life.
In 2005, he started working in the United Arab Emirates as the chief accountant for a group of companies involved in shipping, manufacturing, contracting, real estate, and share businesses. During this period, he provided coaching for students who were studying for an MBA while working. The goal was to help working people improve their qualifications and knowledge. Several universities and organizations started to request his service as a trainer.
In 2010, he was permanently employed as the chief accountant of PIPECARE Group, a multinational organization servicing in oil and gas sector. In 2018, the company promoted him to the position of Group Finance and Compliance Manager. He has implemented ERP software and best practices of accounting processes and published an accounting process document for the reference for subordinates. He conducted training on budgeting, cost control, and project management, and he is well experienced in preparing Budget Business plans and business case studies for new investments. He is also a member of the IMA (Institute of Management Accountants) and a Member of the International Federation of Accountants.
