Local businesses and those looking to become business owners will get a helping hand from those who have succeeded in the Logansport community on Tuesday evening.
Downtown Re-imagined will run from 5:15 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11 at The State Theatre, 317 E. Market St.
The event will provide answers and information about current and upcoming events in downtown Logansport, purchasing storage space and operating a business.
“The Logan’s Landing Economic Vitality Committee and the Logansport Reimagined Committee are partnering for a workshop,” said Joe Brewer, executive director of Logan’s Landing. “They will have two panels of speakers. A panel will focus on topics such as marketing, real estate, banking. And then the second panel will feature business owners who have already set up downtown. They will have information about starting a downtown business, information on grants, the Facade Program and other things.”
The event stemmed from the results of the Homeland Partnership Initiative, where residents said a strong downtown was vital to Logansport’s growth and attracting new residents.
The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 5pm and refreshments will be served prior to the event.
