Susan Plageman has landed a big new gig.
Endeavor has tapped fashion insider Susan Plageman to lead its fashion portfolio, WME Fashion. Plageman has been named president of WME Fashion Art + Merchandise, IMG Fashion Events and Properties, IMG Models and The Wall Group. “We are thrilled to welcome Susan to WME and the Endeavor family. Endeavor president Mark Shapiro said in a release. “She brings more than three decades of experience, a strong network and a strong focus on unique and forward-thinking business opportunities. We look forward to working with Suzanne to invest in and grow our fashion portfolio at a time of great momentum at the intersection of fashion, sports and entertainment.” Plageman oversees a portfolio that includes departments including endorsements, exposure, imaging, promotions and more. Prior to this role, she was chief business officer at Condé Nast’s style division before leaving the company last September after more than a decade. Congratulations!

Paris and LA-based loungewear brand Sporty & Rich is continuing its growth with a new category expansion. A four-year account established by the former Complex Designer Emily Oberg, who collaborated with Solid & Striped last year, is unveiling her first swimwear collection today. The first sporty and opulent swimwear capsule features bikini and one-piece bathing suits in chic and trendy shades of green, brown and white with high bottoms and strappy tops. The collection also includes traditional swimwear and accessories such as button-down shirts, t-shirts, shorts and hats. Model Daphne Groeneveld wears Galia Lahav for their wedding in Florence.
Everyone has their own vision for a fairytale wedding. For Dutch model Daphne Groeneveld, her vision was to marry her and her now-husband, realtor Justin Hopwood, at the stunning Villa Medicia di Liliano in Florence. On top of that, Groeneveld’s not one, but two stunning custom dresses were fantastic in their own right. Designed by New York-based couturier Galia Lahav, the first is a gorgeous slip-style dress with a sensual cut-out at the back. The second, which Groeneveld donned at the reception, was an equally gorgeous halter mini with an asymmetrical train and feather detailing. And the bridesmaids wore custom Galia Lahav silk dresses in sage green, each choosing their favorite pattern. BCBGMAXAZRIA launches Fall ’22 collection
BCBGMAXAZRIA is here to add a little extra flair to your fall wardrobe. With its signature fall ’22 collection, designed by the first creative director Albino Riganello, which is now live on the BCBGMAXAZRIA site, the beloved brand is strengthening its founder Max Azria’s signatures, although with a new twist. To do this, Riganello focused on modern and streamlined images as well as bright colors. This approach eventually produced bold geometric bodycon dresses and bold dresses with cool cutouts, among other pieces that add a bit of flair and sophistication to any fall wardrobe.
The Colony heads to Southampton in a new pop-up.
Palm Beach’s prized colonial hotel will pop up this summer at Christie’s Southampton, kicking off a full season of 75th anniversary celebrations for the historic property. Through Sunday, Sept. 4, Hamptonites can experience an immersive tropical oasis designed by famed floral designer Louis Miller, open to the public. To celebrate the ongoing partnership between Palm Beach Rose Garden and the famous auction house, guests will enjoy Colonial’s signature double-scalloped umbrellas, cabana-style loungers and a pink and green Beach Buggy in the heart of Southampton at Agawam Park. Solange Knowles to write for NYCballet
Solange Knowles has added another string to her bow. The Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and visual artist has been commissioned by the New York City Ballet to create a new score, which will debut at the company’s annual Fall Fashion Gala on Wednesday, September 28 at Lincoln Center. This piece marks Knowles’ first ballet composition, and will be written for chamber ensemble and performed by the composer’s frequent musical collaborators. She features clothes by Gianna Reisen, who is doing her third job for NYCB, and fashion designer Alejandro Gómez Palomo. Following the gala, Knowles’ work will be performed on Saturday, October 1 at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2pm and 8pm; Tuesday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, October 16 at 3 p.m. Following this limited run, the show returns for five more performances during NYCB’s spring ’23 season on Tuesday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, May 13 at 8 p.m.; Wednesday, May 17 at 7:30 p.m.; and Thursday, May 18 at 7:30 p.m.
