Cookie Jar Eatery, which has been in business in Sioux Falls for 50 years, is for sale, the owners announced Tuesday.
Current owners, Glen and Elaine Koch have overseen the business for the past 20 years and it has been family owned since 2002. Cookie Jar Eatery is located inside the Shriver’s Building in downtown Sioux Falls – the third location the business has called home .
While the business is for sale, they are not planning to close their doors just yet and “would like to see the tradition of the business continue for another 50 years in Sioux Falls.”
“While we search for a buyer for The Cookie Jar, our plan is to remain open for normal business,” according to a press release issued by the owners.
