DEPT, a technology and marketing business owned by The Carlyle Group Inc. has agreed to buy the smaller Melon.
The Amsterdam-based company will pay about $50 million to $60 million to buy Melon, people familiar with the matter said, asking not to be identified discussing confidential information.
