Dear MBA students, Alumni and Faculty,
Welcome to Fall Semester 2022. We hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing summer and stayed cool in the heat. The campus is booming again and we are ready to welcome you. With a total of 188 students, the MBA program continues to be the largest graduate program at the University of Nevada, Reno. We are grateful that this newsletter can focus on the achievements of the program.

Our alumni family grew by 55 this past spring and summer. Congratulations to all of our University of Nevada, Reno MBA graduates. You have done a wonderful job in these challenging times. Your grit, determination and stamina will take you far!
Welcome new MBA students!
Introducing the class profile, we are excited to welcome 51 new MBA students to the program. The group has an average of four years of work experience to draw on as they move through the program, and six have already completed an advanced degree or earned a professional certification. We are also proud to welcome international students from India, Peru and Turkey!
Winner of the 2022 Sontag Entrepreneurship Competition
We want to congratulate another MBA student, Perm Singh, winner of this year’s Sontag Entrepreneurship Competition, which took place in April. Perm took home the $50,000 prize and the $10,000 Dragonfly Energy Innovation Award for his company, U-Niq. We are very proud of all the finalists, especially our MBA students, and their innovative business ideas!
Nevada Global Business is back!
This summer, Nevada Global Business hosted three trips to New York, Toronto and London. Students in New York were able to visit the CBS studios with University student Nate Burleson. We are very pleased that Nevada Global Business is up and running after COVID-19!
