Business description
Despite advances in data management software to help organizations navigate the new regulatory landscape, many still face the tedious process of evaluating many different tools to stay compliant. Onclov It is empowering organizations to incorporate data privacy capabilities into their digital architecture.
In doing so, Onclave addresses some of the most pressing issues organizations face when storing and processing their customer data on public clouds.
Unlike other similar businesses in the market, Onclave takes an engineering approach to solving privacy needs by providing privacy as a service. It ensures that privacy and security concerns can be addressed at the source of the data, not every application that consumes sensitive data, all accessible through simple API integration.
Antler investment thesis
“Matt and Simon are delivering data privacy as a service and addressing key points of vulnerability for data transfer, encryption and storage,” said Kat Rogers, partner at Antler Australia.
“Evolving privacy regulations, declining trust in how personal information is stored, and increased demand for cloud computing have further impacted Onqlave’s reach. The Onqlave team brings deep domain knowledge and technical expertise to privacy first solutions.
To date drag/executives
Onqlave has received a lot of interest and support from industry experts and insiders. There is a consensus among these parties that it is insufficient to protect consumers’ sensitive data and that relying solely on privacy protection cannot be achieved by public cloud providers alone.

Comments from the founders
“We’re solving a business-critical problem with validation from industry insiders,” said Simon O’Keefe, co-founder and CEO of Onclave.
“Simply not enough is being done to protect users’ sensitive data, combined with an overreliance on privacy protections from public cloud providers. We hope to fix that.”
“Antler has proven to be an important gathering place for like-minded individuals ready to build companies to solve complex challenges facing our world. Matt and I immediately clicked with Antler, with a shared interest in the privacy field and complementary skills to develop a privacy-as-a-service solution.”
