Last year (remember 2019?), thanks to the wealth of statistics from Careers24 and the growing global zeitgeist around women-focused career conferences, Danielle Weekley launched Go Hustle at Media24 with an equally dedicated small team.

Go Hustle is an online empowerment and entrepreneurship platform for young South African women to achieve their dream careers. The content platform is supported by social media and offline experiences that provide networking, education, information and inspiration.
According to Danielle Weakley: “Our goal is to inspire and mentor new young women leaders to take ownership of their power, finances and career journey. We do this not only by using the collective power of the professional network, but also by giving praise and experience to entrepreneurs who have paved the way in local businesses and organizations.
“At Go Hustle, you’ll find answers to many of your burning questions, but most importantly, you’ll network with like-minded women who are hustling to get started. Spread their wings or take the next leap.
Go Hustle hosted just two – albeit encouraging – networking events going into 2020 when Covid hit. The team quickly changed tack and translated the events calendar into a virtual one, hosting regular pop-up #WFH Social Club events throughout the lockdown. The lineup was stellar with local and international guests talking about everything from finance and budgeting to loneliness, goal setting, boundaries, personal journey stories.
“Thanks to this need for communication, we launched our podcast series and newsletter, all of which add to the experience,” continues Danielle.
